I enjoyed the romance and fantasy of this young adult read, which seemed to be geared toward the tastes of a younger audience. Godling definitely has a promising and unique storyline, and I loved the Greek mythology component. I wish it could be expanded on this to include more depth and create a stronger connection to the characters with more character building. I felt a little rushed through the story and wanted more length to the book and to learn more about each character at a deeper level. I know it’s a novella, but I was craving a novel. Overall, i really liked the subject and story concept just needed a little more to the delivery to pack a full punch. I did find myself thinking about the story often after I finished it and wishing I could have gotten more. Interested to see what happens in the books to follow. Would make a cool movie!
