This is only book 2 and I am already so madly in love with the characters in this world. The writing is superb and the storyline is so gripping that you won't be able to stop reading until the last page. In some scenes I laughed so hard I snorted, others made my eyes fill with tears and many were so hot,I thought I would melt. The HEA is beautiful and made me so happy. I would definitely recommend this book (as well as book 1!!!) and I can't wait to start on book 3.

The Arkansas Werewolf series just gets better and better. Braxton gets accused of murdering his father and you will never guess who really did it until the very very end !! I kept thinking his abused mom or an old grudge, boy was i waaaay off !! 4⭐'s for great characters, storyline and hot sex , plus a visit from Granny and her "toys"!! I can't wait for book 3 !!
Wow! Beneath a blood lust moon rocks!!! It's got everything I look for in a book-it's a page turner, I laughed, I cried! I laughed my butt off when Lorcan got trapped by the ladies at the B and B!😂😂😂. I HAD to read it out loud to my hubby. He got a silly from on his face after I described the ladies backgrounds. Thanks for throwing in Felicity. A girl with spunk and a lust for life all rolled into one. PLEASE bring the ladies back on another novel please!!! Gotta go. I have to buy the next one...🌛😁
Book 2 of the Arkansas werewolf series. Braxton who we met in book one is framed charged with his fathers murder. 3 assassins are sent by the Louisiana pack to take him out. Kate with help from her vet friend Beau saves Braxton and nurses him back to health. But the assassins are still after him. This book was better than the first and I gave it 5 stars. I was a little disappointed that the author didn't explain more about Kates Vet friend Beau. He's a wolf but doesn't seem part of the Arkansas Pack. Hopefully that's a story for another novel.
Was surprised that Braxton was the hero, but really enjoyed his story! I am not sure what gave me more joy.....the mix of romance writers showing up at the B&B for their writing retreat or Granny and Ava showing up! The humor, hyjinx and general doses of crazy had me chuckling throughout the book. Granny making over $100K with her sexy "toys" and clothing.....Felicity checking males for rings and then wanting to have her way with said male.....the guys begging to not have to hear anyone talking about sex, toys or anything that might never let them get that awful picture out of their mind....the women pounding back shots or anything with alcohol....Kate and Braxton finally getting mated....it was a very fun read! Already ordered the next one!
I love the hero in this story, strong, loving and believes in keeping those he loves, whether they deserve it or not, safe from harm. Easier said than done has he's running for his life for protecting someone he loves. As men are looking for him he runs into someone who needs his help and to whom he has a strong attraction to. Can he help save her business while keeping himself hidden from those who are trying to kill him. As I said earlier, I really like this character and how he got to the point of running for his life is very good story telling. I recommend this book to those who love reading a good thriller, romance story with the great elements of a paranormal hero. Needless to say I can't wait to read her next one Shadows of a Wolf Moon.
Beneath A Blood Lust Moon, Jodi Vaughn's second book in her Rise of the Arkansas Werewolves, we get Braxton and Kate's story. Boy what a story it turns out to be.
Braxton loses his job, is accused of murder, ran out of town, hunted by assassins, ran off a mountain, shot and falls for a human all in the first few chapters. You can just imagine what else happens with an entire book to read.
Kate's life is all out of sorts too. Her mom and her fight over Kate's boyfriend, her mom dies in a car wreck, the boyfriend steals all her money, the bank wants to foreclose on her B & B, which is also her home, a greedy developer wants her land and she has no income because the B&B it's empty. As with Braxton, this is also just the first few chapters.
Needless to say their story is a rollercoaster ride. From start to finish their lives are lived on the edge. The suspense, intrigue, laughter, surprise guest, lust, recurring characters from the last book and love make this a wonderful book. I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to see who the next book is about.
I don't even know where to start with this one. It is the second book of the series and I found it to be my favorite so far. Thankfully due to the weather and illness I was housebound with nothing else to do so I started reading it. WOW, I could NOT put this book down until I had finished the entire thing...yes it is that good! I did have a brief pause around 82% when out loud laughing caused a coughing fit, but other than that, I never let it leave my sight. Trying not to give too much away here but what you have is Braxton a werewolf accused of a murder, on the run from 3 deadly assassins. Injured he makes his way to a B & B owned by Kate, a human. The sparks are instant. What follows is everything that should be in a good book. Sexy, hot good guys, scary bad guys, action, humor, hot, hot sexy times and a very well written plot and story line. There are other characters who I can't wait to read about, hopefully in future books, but I can't imagine their stories could even come close to being this good. I Loved this book!
