I read this book to A as I know she likes ladybugs. This is a cute story with not very many pictures but that is okay. The ladybug who is named Lady isn't too happy with the same clothes they are red with black polka dots. Her mother tries to explain that their colors and patterns are important to them, and she wouldn't want to be like the other insects. Still Lady is not happy so her mother sends her out to go look behind the tree stump.While there she meets a toadstool, a toad and a snail. Each are unique and give Lady some thoughtful things to think about. We are left with Lady learning that she should be happy with how she looks because it is special and very important.

It a very cool book teachings that you are beautiful just the way u r and there's nothing wrong with that and that is why I like this book I gave this book a 4star wrongheaded it is very unique but predictable like other books
This book was very fun to read aloud with my 9 year old child. The moral of the story was life teaching.
Its an ok read, downloaded for my grandson, who is 3, so less words more pics is best! Not a bad book tho!
